Responsibilities:
Keep good relation with local Technical Service Centers and other Government Departments, lead the certification process, provide regulatory advice/approval for pre-development and development programs.
Keep close cooperation with Regulations, provide support to establish policies and positions for the Company, engage in the progression of the incoming Emission Regulation to ensure knowledge spread within Company.
Get Involved in Associations and Committees, in agreement with Regulations and Institutional Relations on items related to new incoming regulations.
Grant engine homologation certificate. Lead the process of submission for certification through the coordination of witnessed Emissions and Performance test dealing with the relevant authority.
Preparation of reports and other relevant documentation describing the certified engine, the after-treatment and the control logic.
Get and make the certification available in proper company repository.

Requirements:
Communication is the key skill to be successful in Technical Certification team. For the correct deployment of this task, team members need to be in contact with several departments: Quality, Engineering, ATS, Application, Sales, ED&R, etc.
A good disposition to the Regulatory documents review and study is also necessary, due to the continuous need for regulation study and interpretation.
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Good communication skills in English (oral and written).
Solid technical background, extensive experience within product development and a good knowledge of engines and engine related regulations would be highly advantageous (Compression Ignition , Spark Ignition technology, Control Systems and After-treatment technology awareness).
Teamwork spirit and independent working capacity.
Strong interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills.
