Responsibilities:
Monitor, analyze and communicate regulatory developments related to on-road, off-road, power generator and marine product lines in various markets in Asia, Middle East and Africa
Support all internal company functions with guidance and interpretation of current regulatory requirements in various markets in Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Conduct training of internal company contacts on current and new regulations
Act as a technical liaison to Product Engineering teams on matters related to emission regulations, such as testing, measurement and software diagnostics
Track and monitor non-emissions regulations and standards that impact Powertrain segment (e.g. functional safety, machine directives/standards, fuels)
Support advocacy activities related to technical regulations in coordination with Institutional Relations team
Participate in industry groups, trade associations and government meetings relating to China, Korea, Japan and India engine emissions regulations to monitor regulatory activity
Conduct in-depth research, analysis and strategy development to support regulatory affairs activities
Support the development of comments on regulatory initiatives of various governmental agencies related to engine emissions and other non-emissions regulations
Ensure alignment with the Global Regulations Manager, Institutional Relations and other Product Conformance staff on recommended company positions that will minimize impact to enterprise

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Business
5 years of on-road and/or off-road diesel engine industry or automotive industry or emission regulations
3 years experience in engine design, vehicle product development or engineering
