Responsibilities:
Responsible for Off-Road Diesel/NG & On-Road NG projects for captive and non-captive customers, coordinating the projects from technical point of view, leading the development team, ensuring the deliverables according to the project milestones / technical targets, and budget & time management ensuring that the development costs are inside the target, and that the agreed timing is respected.
Lead the development team for the assigned projects
Represent Product Engineering on multi-department meetings such as management reviews, product team, etc.
Responsible for reporting the project status to the company top management
Budget management to ensure that the project cost is within the target
Product cost management, ensuring that the selected and developed solutions are within the cost target
Deployment of the product definition in sub-system technical specifications to be assigned to the various group leader (Design, Application, Calibration, ATS, OBD and EMS)
Coordination and deliverables tracking of the external engineering services suppliers
Ensure coherence between the technical characteristics of the projects and the sub system technical specs agreed with the customers
Integration of product and process design through activities of simultaneous engineering
Technical interface to customer’s engineering dept. for operational and technical tasks related to assigned projects
Track down functional and durability validation of Powertrain on machine/Test Bench
Problem solving for development incidents
Monitoring and reporting maturity growth of integrated Powertrain
Integration with Quality for effective development / field claims configuration

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering
At least 5 years' experience in project management / application / functional development in the specific competence area (engine), with expertise in vehicle integration / customer management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluent English required
Strong background in engineering drawings, data acquisition / post-processing, engine application, combustion, dimensional / quality verifications
Availability for business travels
Can work under pressure
